CREATOR MARKETPLACE

Creator Marketplace Terms

Last updated: April 15, 2026

1. Scope

These Creator Marketplace Terms apply to anyone who uploads work to Audlis, publishes mockup products, or distributes work — free or paid — through the Design Gallery or Mockup Gallery ("Creators"). These terms work alongside the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and IP & DMCA Policy.

2. Identity & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of contractual capacity in your jurisdiction.
  • You need a valid Stripe Connect account for payouts if you enable paid distribution.
  • One real person per Creator account. Buying, sharing, or automating Creator accounts results in a permanent ban.
  • Some countries and regions cannot currently receive Creator payouts due to compliance or tax reasons — see our published list of supported regions.

3. You Keep Your Rights

You retain all intellectual-property rights in the original work you upload to Audlis (designs, images, video, audio), provided you lawfully hold those rights. Audlis does not claim ownership of your work.

By uploading and publishing work, you grant Audlis a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to: (a) display the work to other users within the visibility settings you choose; (b) render mockups and generate production files when another user places an order; (c) feature the work in on-platform search, recommendations, marketing pages, and campaigns, all within the licence scope you set.

4. Your Representations

  • You have all rights necessary to upload the work, including the rights to any recognizable people, fonts, or third-party assets included.
  • The work does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • The work complies with all prohibitions in the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • The licensing terms you declare (free / paid, commercial / personal, geographic limits) are truthful and enforceable.
  • If the work is taken down due to a third-party claim or determined to be infringing, settled or in-flight payouts may be frozen, clawed back, or offset under these terms.

5. Commercial Model & Revenue Share

  • Mockup product sales: when another user purchases a piece featuring your design (apparel, print, home good), Audlis pays you a royalty (default 10%–20%, tier-adjustable) of the gross margin per your settings.
  • Asset licensing: when another user pays to download or commercially license one of your assets, Audlis charges a ~20% platform fee and pays you the balance.
  • Free-license assets: usable by any Audlis user within the studio but not redistributable outside the platform. No revenue share is generated.
  • Exact percentages and calculation rules are shown in the "Earnings" section of your Creator panel. Changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

6. Payouts & Tax

  • Monthly settlement: the previous month's "settleable" amount (orders completed past the returns window) is processed each month.
  • Minimum payout: USD 25. Amounts below this roll to the next month.
  • Payouts run through Stripe Connect; arrival typically takes 1–7 business days depending on your country and banking system.
  • US Creators must submit a W-9; non-US Creators submit a W-8BEN or equivalent. Audlis withholds tax as required by your jurisdiction.
  • All payouts are in USD; non-USD destinations are converted at the prevailing Stripe rate at payout time.

7. Moderation & Takedowns

  • Uploaded work passes an automatic review before publication (safety, copyright fingerprint, sensitive-content checks).
  • Once auto-review passes, the work is published. Subsequent complaints or manual spot-checks may still trigger takedowns.
  • Unsettled earnings for work that has been taken down are frozen until the issue is resolved; cleared work releases earnings on schedule.
  • Accounts that trigger the "repeat infringer" mechanism (see IP & DMCA, Section 9) are permanently banned. Settled earnings are handled per platform policy.

8. Removal & Delisting

  • You can delist your work at any time from the Creator panel.
  • A delisted work cannot receive new purchases or licenses; orders already placed are fulfilled under their original terms.
  • Audlis may proactively delist when: (a) we receive a valid copyright complaint; (b) the work violates the Acceptable Use Policy; (c) legal or compliance requirements demand it.
  • Closed or banned accounts have their works delisted by default.

9. Promotion & On-Platform Visibility

Audlis may feature, weight, or surface your work in on-platform recommendations, campaigns, email, and social channels (within your licence scope). We do not resell your work outside the platform and do not transfer exclusive distribution rights to any third party.

10. Termination

  • You may stop creating and delist all your works at any time. Orders already in production are completed per their original terms.
  • Audlis may suspend or terminate your Creator status if you breach these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
  • After termination, you have 90 days to request payout of remaining balance (above the minimum threshold). Unclaimed balances after that follow platform policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

These terms may change as the platform, tax law, or other legal requirements evolve. Material changes are announced through site notices, email, or the Creator panel with a reasonable transition period. Continued uploads or keeping previously published work online constitutes acceptance.
