1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Audlis uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, Cloudflare edge cache keys) to recognize sessions, remember preferences, and understand site usage. This policy complements our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookie Categories We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies: keep you signed in, defend against CSRF, persist your cart, and route traffic. These cannot be disabled — core functionality depends on them.
- Preference cookies: remember your language (English / Chinese), preferred currency, and product-view settings. If cleared, defaults are restored.
- Functional cookies: remember recent AI Studio choices such as canvas size and model so they are pre-filled next time.
- Analytics cookies: aggregate pageviews, AI Studio usage frequency, and funnel conversion. No personally identifiable fields are stored.
3. Third-Party Cookies
- Stripe: used during checkout and payment. Loaded only when you reach the checkout flow; used for payment completion and fraud prevention.
- Cloudflare: our CDN and security layer. Writes edge cache and bot-challenge cookies.
- Better Auth: session and login management.
- AI model and media hosting providers: cookies written to their own domains via API calls, used only for session recognition during that call.
4. Cookies We Do Not Use
Audlis does not currently use cross-site tracking, remarketing tags, or behavioural-advertising cookies. If we introduce any of these in the future, we will update this policy and clearly notify users beforehand.
5. Cookie Lifetimes
- Session cookies: cleared automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: cleared after their expiry (language preference ~1 year; login session ~30 days depending on your sign-in settings).
- localStorage: persists until you or we explicitly clear it.
6. Managing Cookies
- Browser settings: you can disable or clear cookies in your browser. Disabling strictly necessary cookies breaks sign-in, cart, and similar features.
- Private / incognito mode: cookies are cleared when the private window closes.
- Account preferences: language and currency can be reset from your account settings.
- EU/EEA / UK users: where consent is required, we will surface a notice and request consent before introducing analytics or marketing cookies.
7. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
There is no industry-wide standard for the browser-level "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Audlis does not actively respond to DNT signals, but we also do not currently set behavioural-advertising cookies. Where applicable, Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals will be honoured to disable processing that qualifies as "selling" or "sharing" personal information.
8. Updates to This Policy
We update this policy when we introduce new cookies, new third-party services, or as legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Significant changes are communicated through site notices or email.
